New Officer Joins Wallkill Police Force

The Wallkill Police Department is welcoming a new recruit into its ranks.

Officials welcomed their newest police officer, Giovanni Laguna recently, who was sworn in last month and is currently attending the police academy in SUNY Ulster.

Following his graduation from the police academy, Laguna will train with a law enforcement Field Training Officer before making his way onto the force in Wallkill.
