Reward Offered In Fatal Newburgh Hit-And-Run

NEWBURGH, N.Y. – New York State Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500 reward for information leading to the arrest of a suspect responsible for a hit-and-run in Newburgh that left a 90-year-old man dead on Sunday.

Fred Woolsey, 90, and a retired United State Marine, was found injured by City of Newburgh Police at the corner of Grand Avenue and Park Place just after 7 a.m. on Sept. 17. 

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-866-313-TIPS (8477) immediately. Callers can remain anonymous. There is no caller ID on the New York State Crime Stoppers hotline phones.
