New Teacher Contract Approved In Newburgh

NEWBURGH, N.Y. -- Newburgh teachers are getting a raise.

As part of a new five-year agreement approved by the school board Tuesday, Newburgh teachers will be receiving two-percent raises. The agreement runs through June 30, 2022.

Varsity head coaches will receive $500 raises for the current school year and $200 a week for postseason practices.
