Registered Sex Offender Reports To Orange County Jail

A 26-year-old man with a previous conviction for soliciting a minor is back in Orange County Jail, according to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services.

The New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services issued an alert this week to Westchester residents regarding the residency of Nicholas Pulido, who previously lived in Highland Falls, but is now in Orange County Jail in Goshen.

The Division of Criminal Justice Services has assigned Pulido a Level 3 threat, which means he is a “high-risk repeat offender and possible threat to public safety.” 

According to the Division of Criminal Justice Services, Pulido was previously convicted of solicitation of a 15-year-old in December 2015 in Highland Falls. His current conviction is third-degree rape of a victim less than 17 years old. He's facing up to three years in prison. Pulido is now under the jurisdiction of the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
