Police Search For Man Who Allegedly Sold Stolen Dirt Bike In Newburgh

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. - State Police are seeking the public’s assistance as they search for a suspect who allegedly stole a dirt bike and sold it in Newburgh for drugs and cash.

An alert was issued for 22-year-old Kyle Velders, who is wanted for a charge of criminal possession of stolen property following his arrest after an investigation determined that he and an accomplice stole a Honda dirt bike and sold it in Orange County.

Velders failed to appear in court to answer his charge and an arrest warrant was issued for his arrest from the Town of Lloyd Court. Police said he is also wanted by the Montgomery Village Police Department and Shawangunk Town Police.

Police described Velders as a 6-foot tall white male with blonde hair and blue eyes. He weighed an estimated 165 pounds at the time of his last arrest.
