Tappan Zee Constructors announced that contractors will be continuing roadway improvements near the bridge from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 12, requiring a single-lane closure. This story has been updated. Motorists had to endure two major slowdowns on I-84 and Route 32 in Orange County. The rollover crash occurred around 9:32 a.m. Monday on I-84 eastbound near Ext 8B in Newburgh. State police traffic is getting by, but traffic is backed-up and slowdowns are occurring. I-84 Lanes Reopen After Overturned Tractor-Trailer Crash
This story has been updated. Both lanes on a stretch of I-84 have reopened after a crash involving an overturned tractor-trailer. The incident in Putnam County, on the eastbound side at I-684 (Exit 20), caused half-hour long delays with slow traffic moving along on the right shoulder around the crash scene while the lanes were closed on Friday, Feb. 22. Route 59 Reopens After Truck Hits Overpass
This story has been updated. A stretch of Route 59 has reopened after it was shut down in both directions following a tractor-trailer hit an overpass in Rockland County. The incident occurred around noon on Wednesday, Feb. 6 between Route 17 and 4th Street in Hillburn. No injuries were reported.
