Maria Grace Gallo, 98, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. – Maria Grace Cascone Gallo, of Bridgeport, died Wednesday, Feb. 3. She was 98.
Gallo was predeceased by her husband Salvatore.
Visiting hours are from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull with a service at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8.
A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Raphael Church at Frank Street in Bridgeport.
Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Trumbull.
Suspect In Trumbull Armed Robbery Chased, Apprehended In Bridgeport
TRUMBULL, Conn. – Several Trumbull schools were in lockdown Tuesday morning as police chased an armed robbery suspect across the Merritt Parkway, according to the Connecticut Post.
The attempted robbery occurred on Sunnycrest Road, where the suspect tried to break into a home, the Post said. The owner called police, who spotted him and gave chase, the Post noted.
The suspect was a juvenile who turned out to be carrying a fake gun, dropping it as the chase moved into Bridgeport, reported the Connecticut Post.

William McCabe, 90, Of New Canaan
NEW CANAAN, Conn. – William J. McCabe, a longtime resident of New Canaan, died Saturday, Jan. 30, at Danbury Hospital due to complications from pneumonia. He was 90.
McCabe was born in New York City on March 2, 1925, to Valentine and Mary Driscoll McCabe. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
After the war, he worked as a project manager for Polaris Fire Control Systems, worked in GMC's aerospace department and became project manager for the Apollo guidance and navigation systems.
