39-Year-Old Accused Of Slashing Tires In Northern Westchester A 39-year-old man has been charged after authorities said he slashed two tires in Northern Westchester. The Ossining man was arrested on a charge of third-degree criminal mischief, according to an announcement from the Yorktown Police Department on Friday, Jan. 28. The man's identity was not released. Women Accused Of Punching, Stabbing 7-Eleven Employee In Suffolk Two women are facing assault charges after police said they attacked an employee at a Long Island 7-Eleven. The Riverhead Police Department reported that 19-year-old Angie Vanegas and 20-year-old Iona Weston, both of Riverhead, were each arrested and charged with second-degree assault in the November incident. Authorities Rescue Cat Found Abandoned In Cold At Highway Rest Stop In Fairfield County Authorities helped rescue a cat found abandoned in the cold at a highway rest stop in Fairfield County. Man Accused Of Stealing $630 Worth Of Items From Macy's Outlet Store In Suffolk Police have asked the public for help locating a man accused of stealing coats valued at about $630 from a Long Island store. A man stole the merchandise from Macy's Backstage in Melville at about noon on Saturday, Dec. 4, according to the Suffolk County Police Department. The store is located at 834 Walt Whitman Road.
