Truck Takes Down Cables In Kenilworth A street in Kenilworth was temporarily closed Friday, Nov. 29 after a large truck struck multiple cables, leaving wires and debris scattered, the fire department said. The incident occurred on South Michigan Avenue, where crews from Car 2 and Engine 63 of the KFD, along with Police Chief Campanelli and Kenilworth officers, responded to secure the area. Route 42 Reopens After Suspect Plunges Out Hotel Window In Deptford: Report Route 42 in Deptford was briefly closed on Thanksgiving Day due to police activity. Driver, 28, Seriously Injured In Parkway Crash Thanksgiving Day In Toms River A 28-year-old man suffered serious injuries in a Thanksgiving Day crash on the Garden State Parkway, authorities said. The man was heading north behind the wheel of a Lexus SUV when the vehicle ran off the road to the right and struck multiple trees at milepost 86.7 in Toms River around 6:50 p.m., New Jersey State Police Sgt.
