Multi-Vehicle Crash Shuts GW Memorial Parkway Ramp
A multi-vehicle crash closed a ramp along the George Washington Memorial Parkway Thursday morning, Jan. 19. The ramp from Route 123 was closed on the southbound side as of 10:20 a.m. in between McLean and Arlington. Delays were expected.

New Forecast: Increased Snowfall Totals Expected, Arctic Temps To Follow Northeast Storm
Newly-released forecast maps show parts of the region could see up to six inches of snow in the end-of-week storm. Intermittent snow is expected to begin between 4 and 7 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, with the heaviest amounts falling in the afternoon, the National Weather Service said. Snow will fall at about 0.5 inches per hour and will taper by the evening, with temps in the upper 20s and low 30s, the NWS said. Officers, Suspect Treated For Hypothermia After Pursuit Ends Neck-Deep In Sussex County Swamp
A 42-year-old New York man and a Sussex County police officer were hospitalized for hypothermia after the man was nabbed neck-deep in swamp water, authorities said. Joseph M Flood, of Port Jervis, NY, had been eluding police in various jurisdictions but was spotted by police in Andover while on Anover-Mohawk Road in a Chevy Avalanche around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, local police said. A Maryland police department is mourning the loss of a longtime brother in blue. Daniel Stickney Jr., who spent the last 15 years working for the Rising Sun Police Department in Maryland, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 10, according to a GoFundMe campaign for his family and his obituary. PA Dentist Fondles Patient During Emergency Visit: DA
A Chester County dentist is accused of touching a patient's breasts at his Paoli practice. James Godorecci of Main Line Dental Aesthetics is charged with misdemeanor indecent assault and harassment, said the Chester County District Attorney's Office in a release. In the criminal complaint, the alleged victim told police she had been seeing Godorecci for regular dental care and treatment for her temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ.) A tractor trailer driver wreaked havoc in Bridgewater when he crossed the double-yellow line, struck several parked cars, a moving vehicle, and crashed into a building trapping an occupant, police said.
