8-Year-Old Horseback Rider Seriously Injured In New Jersey SUV Crash An 8-year-old horseback rider suffered serious injuries in a crash with an SUV in North Jersey this week, authorities said. The child was riding the horse along Linn Smith Road in Frankford Township, when the horse traveled into the roadway and struck the side of a Ford SUV around 5:10 p.m, New Jersey State Police Trooper Troy McNair said. The 8-year-old was ejected and suffered serious injuries. The horse suffered moderate injuries. No further information was provided.

'End Of An Era:' St. Joe's Football Coach Dan Marangi Leaves It's the end of an era for St. Joseph's Regional High School football program. Head Coach Dan Marangi will be stepping down in a "significant shift in leadership," the school announced Friday, Nov. 17. "Coach Marangi has decided to step down, marking the end of an era and paving the way for a new chapter of success and growth," the school said. The last time the Green Knights won a state title was in 2018, with Head Coach Augie Hoffman. Marangi led Don Bosco to nine state championships before leaving in 2017. Woman Assaulted, Man Slashed In Leesburg Bar Fight: Police Two people were arrested in a fight that broke out in the parking lot of a Leesburg bar overnight, police said. Joseph Smith, 32, has been charged with one count of malicious wounding while Eric Dekenipp, 39, of Lovettsville, has been charged with one count of simple assault in the 2 a.m. incident on the 500 block of East Market Street, local police said. Broadway Productions Of 'Lion King, Beetlejuice' Seeking Actors The Actors' Equity Association is casting actors for two popular Broadway shows. Recent casting calls are seeking actors for "The Lion King" and "Beetlejuice." Both are paid gigs with actors earning approximately $1,165 a week for "Beetlejuice" and $2,439 for "The Lion King." "The Lion King" is being produced by Disney Theatrical Productions while "Beetlejuice" is produced by Beetlejuice First National Tour LLC. Jersey Shore Man, 69, Had 1,000 Child Porn Images: Prosecutor A 69-year-old Ocean County man has been arrested after police say he was found with more than 1,000 child pornography images.
