Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Mass Lottery: Powerball Jackpot At Over Half A Billion Day Before Drawing Massachusetts Lottery ticket holders could have a shot at winning hundreds of millions of dollars, lottery officials announced. The Powerball jackpot prize reached an estimated $508 million the day before its drawing on Wednesday, Oct. 19, officials said. The cash option on the prize is estimated at $256.3 million. People have until 9:50 p.m. Wednesday to buy tickets at select retailers in the state. Tickets got for $2 and the drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m., lottery officials said.

Hunter Found Dead In Cohasset Woods Was Beloved Father, Northeastern Employee A Quincy man who was found dead while camping with his family in Cohasset earlier this month was a beloved father, outdoor enthusiast and loyal employee. Joseph Whooley, age 56, was found dead after a 12-hour search around Lily Pond in Cohasset on Sunday, Oct. 9, as previously reported by Daily Voice. 16-Year-Old Girl Killed In Late Night Crash On I-495 In Wareham: Police A 16-year-old girl from Raynham was killed in a late night crash in just before Cape Cod, authorities said. Police responded to the single-vehicle crash on I-495 in Wareham around 10:54 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 17, Massachusetts State police said. Initial investigation suggests the girl was driving a 2008 Toyota Sienna when, for reasons still under investigation, she veered off the road, went down an embankment and hit a tree.
