Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Krystal Mello was the sole victim of the crash that happened on Route 190 north in Leominster around 7:10 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6, as previously reported by Daily Voice. 78-Year-Old Man Hit By Car In Taunton: Police A 78-year-old man was hospitalized after he was hit by a car in Taunton, authorities said. Police responded to a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle at 10 Oak Street around just after 6 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 10, Taunton Police Chief Edward J. Walsh reports. Upon arrival, officers found the man still conscious and alert. He was taken to a local hospital with injuries described as serious but not life-threatening, Walsh said. Ex-Mass State Police Lieutenant Paid For Over 200 Hours Of Fake Overtime: AG A former Massachusetts State Police lieutenant was sentenced to two years probation for submitting over 200 hours of overtime he didn't work, officials report. David Keefe, the former supervisor of Troop E at the Weston Barracks, submitted fake claims for shifts he either never worked or left early from, according to Attorney General Maura Healy.
