Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

Fentanyl, Loaded Gun, Cash Found On CT Man Caught Driving Without License In MA: Police Several illegal substances were found on a Connecticut man while he was arrested for driving without a license in Massachusetts earlier this month, authorities said. Marcus Riggins, of East Hartford, was stopped while speeding on Route 84 west in Sturbridge around 6 p.m. on Sept. 12, according to Massachusetts State Police.
