Born and raised in North Haven, Connecticut, David was always fascinated with the concept of writing for a large publication and telling other people’s stories.

He decided to pursue that fascination after high school by attending Assumption College (now University) in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English/Writing & Mass Communications.

David decided to continue his passion by obtaining a master’s degree in Journalism from Emerson College in 2020. Afterwards, he worked at WBZ NewsRadio in Boston as a digital and broadcast writer covering a wide array of stories.

Now, David is looking to continue his journalistic passions by giving others a platform to share their stories with a larger audience. He predominately covers Daily Voice's counties in the Greater Boston Area: Suffolk, Essex, Middlesex and Norfolk.

22-Year-Old Man Shot On Main Street In Worcester: Police A 22-year-old man is in the hospital after he was injured in a late morning shooting in Worcester, authorities said. Police responded to the shooting near 925 Main Street around 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 15, according to Worcester Police. Upon arrival, officers found the man suffering from gunshot wounds. Delivery Driver Injured In Sudbury Hit-And-Run; Vehicle Sought By Police Sudbury Police are asking for help in identifying a vehicle involved in a hit-and-rush crash that left a pedestrian with non-life-threatening injuries earlier this month. The delivery truck driver was hit by a car while crossing near 257 Concord Road around 5 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 6, according to Police Chief Scott Nix. Trio Targets Elderly Resident In Arlington Home Improvement Scam: Police Three men were hit with several charges each for trying to scam an older Arlington resident out of thousands of dollars in a home improvement scam, authorities said. The resident told police that three men quoted him $200 to fix a small crack on his front steps on Tuesday, Jan. 10, Arlington Police Chief Julie Flaherty reports. Body Found Outside Central Massachusetts Home: Police A death investigation is underway after authorities found a body found outside a private home in Central Massachusetts. The body was found outside a Boylston home on the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 13, Boylston Police said on Facebook. The discovery sparked a shelter-in-place to surrounding schools in Berlin and Boylston but was later lifted, police said. The victim's identity was not released. There is no danger to the public and the investigation is ongoing.

Man Killed, Woman Injured In 4-Alarm Overnight Fire In Holbrook: Officials One person has died and another is seriously injured after a four-alarm fire ripped through a home in Holbrook overnight, officials said.
