Haworth Flea Market Funds Local Scholarships HAWORTH, N.J. -- If you have new or gently used items you'd like to shed -- or want to promote your business -- register a spot in the Women's Club of Haworth's 45th Annual Craft Show & Flea Market, on Sunday, May 15. The cost to reserve a 10-foot spot is $60. If you register the day of the event, the fee is $75. You supply your own tables and chairs. The registration form is here. New Milford Student Wins With 'Bottled' NEW MILFORD, N.J. -- New Milford High School student Sarah Almeda won first place in the VFW Auxiliary’s Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest.Almeda won the county-level contest with her oil painting, "Bottled" -- which portrayed a soldier stuck in a bottle, as a metaphor for issues of post-traumatic stress disorder. She will now compete at the state level -- and potentially at the national level.

Norwood PTO Spring Social Arrives May 6 NORWOOD, N.J. -- The Norwood PTO's annual Spring Social is coming up, on Friday, May 6.There are different times for different grades: K through second grade: 4-5 p.m. -- adult chaperone required third and fourth grades: 5:30-7 p.m. fifth through seventh grades: 7:30-9 p.m. No children will be allowed to attend another age group's party and the children must attend NPS.
