Fort Lee BOE Special Meeting, '15 Minute Child Break' Arrive Next Week
FORT LEE, N.J. -- Two different education-related sessions come to Fort Lee High School next week. The Fort Lee Board of Education is hosting a special public meeting on Monday, April 18, and there will be a presentation for parents about drugs on Wednesday.
On Monday, the BOE meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., in the high school media center. The meeting will then go into executive session, to discuss a personnel matter, then reconvene into the public meeting.

Paskack Junior Woman's Club Holds Tag Sale Fundraiser
PARK RIDGE, N.J.– The GFWC Paskack Junior Woman's Club is holding a tag sale fundraiser on Saturday, May 14.Sale items will include gently used baby gear, toys, games, books, kids' and adults' clothes, home décor, kitchen goods and more. All proceeds will be donated to local charities.
The event will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Park Ridge Community Center, 53 Park Ave., in Park Ridge.

West Milford Teen Center Alters Schedule
WEST MILFORD, N.J. -- West Milford's Teen Center at Westbrook Park has free admission every weekend, and there's a new schedule, through June 24, to help accommodate everyone.
Saturday nights remain for seventh- and eighth-graders, and the center will be open from 7-10 p.m. and Friday nights will alter, between fifth-grade nights, sixth-grade nights and high-school nights. On fifth- and sixth-grade nights, the center will also be open from 7-10 p.m. On high-school nights, it's open an additional hour.

Photos: Paterson Library Celebrated National Bookmobile Day
PATERSON, N.J. -- National Bookmobile Day was Wednesday, April 13, and the Paterson Free Public Library celebrated its own bookmobile, which took its first ride in 2012.It has brought more than 24,000 books to Paterson children, teens and seniors, the library noted in a Facebook post. Ms. Maisy and Mr. Richard visiting elementary and middle schools, community centers, and senior centers.
