2 Bodies Found Inside Greenwich Home; Police Investigating Authorities discovered two people dead inside a Greenwich home on Tuesday, Aug. 5.  Greenwich police were called to a home in Old Greenwich for a welfare check when they found the bodies. Authorities did not provide any further details on the circumstances surrounding the discovery.  Authorities are withholding the names of the deceased until they can notify their next of kin.  Officers said there is no ongoing threat to the community.

Rocky Hill Officer Involved In Crash Responding To Emergency Call A Rocky Hill police officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a car crash on Tuesday evening, Aug. 5.  The officer was involved in the crash around 5:45 p.m. in the area of 279 Elm Street while responding to an emergency call for help, police said.  The officer, who was not identified, and the other driver suffered injuries and were taken to an area hospital for treatment.
