Man Fatally Struck By Truck On Route 195: Njsp A 44-year-old Bayville man was fatally struck by a tractor trailer on Route 195 west in Hamilton Township on Wednesday morning, July 30, authorities said. At 6:10 a.m., the man was standing outside of a Dodge pickup truck on the right shoulder when he entered the right lane of travel directly into the path of a Volvo tractor trailer and was struck, Charles Marchan, a spokesperson for the New Jersey State Police said. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Marchan said. The crash remains under investigation, Marchan said.

Support Swells For Wharton Families Who Lost Home In Fire The community is coming together after a fire tore through five townhomes in Wharton on Saturday, July 26. Two fundraisers have been created to help one of the families impacted by the fire. Keylor Guzman said his family lost everything in the fire, including their clothes, bedding and furniture.  The fundraisers are aimed at helping the families secure temporary housing and basic necessities like clothing and toiletries and begin the process of rebuilding.
