Virginia Dad Dies In Crash Days Before Welcoming 2nd Child: Family A 28-year-old dad was killed in a Stafford County crash Thursday, Dec. 28 crash, authorities said. Christopher E. Lash, of King George, was not wearing a seatbelt when his 2016 Dodge Journey ran off the left side of Kings Highway east around 2:20 a.m., Virginia State Police said. Lash's vehicle struck an embankment before it overturned and collided with several trees. Lash was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene.
