Another Impactful Storm To Follow Snowy Weekend In Northeast: Forecasters Forecasters are touting a massive storm expected to drop several inches of snow on the East Coast this weekend. Murder-suicide: Man Found Dead In Chester County Closet Authorities in Chester County are investigating a murder-suicide on Tuesday, Jan. 2, they said. West Goshen police responded to a home on the 400 block of Hightop Road for a welfare check on 41-year-old Derek Calzadillas, who relatives said hadn't heard from him in 24 hours, Chester County District Attorney Christopher De Barrena-Sarobe said. Manhunt: Attempted Murder Suspect Sought In Charles County, Officials Say A man wanted for attempted murder is the subject of a search following a shooting last month in Charles County. Michael Avon Johnson, 51, of Brandywine, has been charged with assault and attempted murder in the Dec. 28, 2023 shooting on Old Washington Road in Waldorf, the Charles County Sheriff's Office said in a Wednesday, Jan. 3 release.
