David Jaimes Olcott, 36, Of Bridgeport
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — David Jaimes Olcott, a longtime resident of Bridgeport, died on April 23. He was 36.
Olcott was born to John Olcott and Anita O'Donoghue, working as a carpenter.
He is survived by his parents, his stepmother Sheila, brother Jonathan, sister Meaghan O'Donoghue, girlfriend Dawn Ertl, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting hours are on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, located at 399 White Plains Road in Trumbull, with funeral services on Thursday at 11 a.m.
Interment will be private.
Helen J. Carlson, 90, Of Shelton
SHELTON, Conn. – Helen J. Carlson, of Shelton and formerly of Trumbull, died on April 21 at Crosby Commons in Shelton. She was 90.
Carlson was born in Elizabeth, N.J., on March 14, 1926 to Peter and Helen (nee McKeon) Stranko, graduating from Roger Ludlowe High School and New Haven Teachers College.
She went on to teach nursery school and eventually had a long career in retail sales at Read's (now Macy's) Department Store.
Carlson was predeceased by her parents and husband, and is survived by two daughters, Karen Young and her husband Eric of Concord, Mass., and Pamela Rizzo and her husban…
