Connecticut's Gas Prices Down 6 Cents Per Gallon In Past Week FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Gas prices continue their weekly decline in Connecticut with prices compared to last week down 6 cents, according to AAA Northeast’s weekly gas survey. The average price in the state is $2.05 per gallon. Compared to last month and last year, prices have dropped 14 cents and 32 cents, respectively. Gas prices also are dropping on the national level,with the average price per gallon being $1.89, down 8 cents compared to last week; 11 cents since last month; and 18 cents since last year.
