RAMAPO, N.Y. — Reducing your chances of being killed in an automobile crash is easy: Just put on your seatbelt, say the Ramapo Police, who are reminding residents to buckle up. Motor vehicle crashes are the number one cause of death for people between the ages of five and 34, according to Ramapo Police. South Salem's Wolf Conservation Center Offers Year-End Thanks
SOUTH SALEM, N.Y. — A special video expressing thanks was prepared by The Wolf Conservation Center in South Salem, whose mission is to teach the public about wolves. Founded in 1999 by Hélène Grimaud, the WCC is a private, not-for-profit environmental education organization. Over 20 wolves live on the center’s 26 acres off Buck Run, including rare Mexican gray wolves and red wolves. Both species at one time were completely extinct in the wild.
