Enjoy Christmas At Wyckoff's Abma's Farm With A Take-Home Craft WYCKOFF, N.J. — From decorating newcomers to old-time professionals, people can learn something different at the greenhouse workshops Tuesdays at Abma's Farm in Wyckoff. The next workshop is Dec. 15, where participants can make and take home their own indoor holiday fairy/gnome/miniature for their winter garden. Workshops have a materials fee; seminars are free. Even Hands-Free Calls, Texts Distract Drivers, Study Shows Phone technology and driver safety don’t go together, not even hands-free devices built into cars, says a new study by AAA. The latest look at in-vehicle mental distractions discovered that test subjects needed up to 27 seconds to fully restore their mental focus back to driving. Narcotics, Loaded Assault Rifle Seized In Raid On Mahopac House MAHOPAC, N.Y. — Assault weapons, drugs and an alleged 50-year-old dealer were found during a Carmel police raid on a Steiner Drive home in Mahopac, according to the Putnam County Sheriff's office. Three others were arrested last week in connected situations, capping an investigation into heroin trafficking in Mahopac that began in September.
