Marine League Detachment In Oakland Serves Pancakes During Santa Visit
WYCKOFF, N.J. — Join Marine Corps Lakeland Detachment 744 for its annual Breakfast with Santa on Sat. Dec. 19, at the American Legion Hall in Oakland. The organization for Marines is now with the local veteran brothers and sisters at the American Legion Hall on 65 Oak Street in Oakland. Songs, Stories, Crafts Focus On Christmas At West Milford Library

Register Now For Universal Pre-K In Tuckahoe School District
EASTCHESTER, N.Y. — Universal Pre-K applications for the 2016-17 school year are now being accepted by the Tuckahoe Union Free School District in Eastchester. This is a preschool program conducted with a qualified teacher and two assistants in every class. The children attend five days a week, 12:15-2:45 p.m., for 180 days per school year. Their 1960s fleet shows five shiny Pontiac sedans lined up outside police headquarters. ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. —A lunch with Santa for students, family and friends will take place Saturday at St. Leo's School in Elmwood Park. Garfield Church Collecting Donations For Needy
GARFIELD, N.J. — Gift donations are being accepted through Dec. 18 at Calvary Baptist Church of Garfield for its Christmas blessing project. Donors can visit the church and pick up envelopes with suggested gift items. Envelopes also include monetary donation suggestions. Donations can be returned to the church, where they will be distributed by volunteers to the needy.
