She was born in New York, NY and lived Eastchester, NY; Scarsdale, NY; Niskayuna, NY; Virginia Beach, VA; and Darien, CT, before moving to Saddle River 33 years ago. Wilton Brightens The Night With Menorah Lighting On First Night Of Hanukkah
WILTON, CONN. — Over 100 people gathered for the annual Wilton Community Menorah lighting on Sunday, Dec. 5, the First Night of Hanukkah. Live music was played while traditional dreidels and chocolate gelt coins were distributed. The menorah lighting has become an annual tradition in Wilton. When the flip was switched at Rockefeller Center on Dec. 2, 45,000 LED lights illuminated the 78-foot Christmas tree set up the hub of Manhattan, statista.com reports. LED lights were introduced to New York City’s tree in 2007 and are powered by 300 solar panels installed on the roof of One Rockefeller Center.
