The investigation found that three of the several dozen monitoring wells at the facility were registering higher-than-normal levels of tritium, but that the public health was not at risk. Poughkeepsie Police Search For Info On Shooting Incidents POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Poughkeepsie police are looking for information about two incidents of shots fired on Smith Street within the last week, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal. The two reports occurred Monday afternoon and Jan. 31, the Journal said. No injuries were reported in either incident, but both a passing vehicle and parked vehicle were struck by gunfire, reported the Poughkeepsie Journal. Miriam Cedarbaum, 86, Former Scarsdale Village Justice SCARSDALE, N.Y. – Miriam Cedarbaum, a federal judge who also served as the Scarsdale village justice, died Friday, Feb. 5, at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, according to the New York Times. She was 86. Cedarbaum was born Sept. 16, 1929, in Brooklyn to Louis and Sarah Goldman and graduated from Erasmus Hall High School, Barnard College and Columbia Law School, according to The Times. Dover Man Charged With DWI DOVER, N.Y. – New York State Police arrested a Dover man on multiple charges Jan. 31 after he was found to be intoxicated after a one-car accident on Route 22, police said. Vincenzo Simone, 44, was charged with driving while intoxicated, resisting arrest and marijuana possession. Troopers were alerted to the accident by a passer-by who saw the incident at Route 22 and East Duncan Hill Road. Simone was taken to Sharon Hospital to be evaluated and appeared in Dover Justice Court on Thursday.

James Clifford, 23, was arrested on charges stemming from a burglary on Pemberwick Road in October, Greenwich Time noted.
