Elmwood Park To Celebrate Centennial At Reorganization Meeting ELMWOOD PARK, N.J. — The 100th anniversary of Elmwood Park will be celebrated at the Centennial Municipal Reorganization and swearing in ceremony Friday at Elmwood Park Municipal Building. Residents are invited to mark the centennial, as well as meet their new officials. Being sworn in are: Mayor Richard Mola Council Member Anthony Chirdo Council Member Magdalena Giandomenico The 1 p.m. ceremony will be in the council chambers, 182 Market St. A reception will follow.

Yorktown Resident Charged With Pushing, Twisting Man's Arm In Dispute YORKTOWN, N.Y. — A 24-year-old Yorktown man was charged with harassment by Yorktown police after officers received a call summoning them to a dispute on Deerhaunt Street, according to police. Officers arrived on the scene Dec. 21 after receiving a call at 8:42 a.m. An investigation revealed Adam A. Urbana allegedly pushed and twisted the arm of the Deerhaunt resident at 7:30 that morning before he left the scene. Paterson Firefighter Beth Fournier participated in a Cablevision fire safety public service announcement in December. The video focused on the importance of clearing fire hydrants.
