Youths Unite With Bible Study Program At Northvale Church
NORTHVALE, N.J. — A Bible study group for young adults will start Monday, Dec. 7 at the Northvale Community Gospel Church. The seven-part series is by Francis Chan and focuses on BASIC. The Bible study Young Adults Bible Study “Bridge” program meets monthly at 7 p.m. on the first and third Monday. Young adults ages 18-35 are welcome. Palisades Park Students Tune Up For Holiday Concert
PALISADES PARK, N.J. — Students from second through seventh grades will present a winter holiday concert concert at Lindbergh Elementary School in Palisades Park on Dec. 16. Concert-goers will get to learn more about the Lindbergh Music Department's instrumental, choral, general music programs and the TRI-M Music Honor Society. Information about the cultural arts program and upcoming events also will be available. The show starts at 7 p.m. The school is located at 401 Glen Ave.

LaGrangeville A&P Store Closes To Make Way For ShopRite
LAGRANGEVILLE, N.Y. — A&P closed its doors in LaGrangeville last night, leaving behind nothing but empty shelves, the Poughkeepsie Journal reports. Work Off Thanksgiving With Pilates At Fort Lee's Community Center
FORT LEE, N.J. — An advanced Pilates class will get you moving on Monday night, Nov. 30 at the Fort Lee Community Center. The session is available to Fort Lee residents and members of the community center from 7-8 p.m. in the upstairs multipurpose room. Participants should have their community center ID card with them at all times. Adult activities and classes are for ages 18 and over except where noted. Children are not permitted in adult classes. Ridgewood Art Fundraiser Spotlights Members
RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Original paintings are being exhibited and sold during the Ridgewood Art Institute's annual Holiday and Small Painting Show running through Dec. 24. Featuring the Small Works Exhibit to benefit the RAI, the original art is no larger than 8-by-10-inches. Everything was donated and created by members of the Barn. Prices start at $150. Tricky Tray Benefits River Vale's Spectrum for Living
RIVER VALE, N.J. — Vacation packages, a television and sports memorabilia were among the top prizes raffled at a Tricky Tray fundraiser held at the Seasons in Washington Township Nov. 18. Spectrum for Living hosted the sold out event, which drew 400 people. The River Vale-based nonprofit assists adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities throughout New Jersey. Caregivers Can Breathe Into Yoga At Special Ho-Ho-Kus Class
HO-HO-KUS, N.J. — Yoga for overburdened caregivers is being offered Sunday, Dec. 6 at Ho-Ho-Kus Yoga. The "time-out" yoga practice is designed for caregivers who may be over-burdened or have their personal well-being on hold due to a loved one’s health needs. It's intended to remind caregivers of the importance of nourishing their own bodies, minds and spirits. Franklin Lakes Lights Menorah At Community Event
FRANKLIN LAKES, N.J. — The lighting of the community menorah with members of the emergency service squads happens wil occur Tuesday, Dec. 8 in front of Franklin Lakes Borough Hall. Children's entertainment, arts and crafts and hot refreshments will follow the lighting, which begins at 6 p.m. The lighting is sponsored by Chabad of Northwest Bergen County.
