Over 35,000 Turkey Meals Donated By New York And Area Corporations Extra food was on Thanksgiving tables this year thanks to the generosity of state leaders and major corporations in New York. More than 35,000 meals were distributed Thanksgiving week to people in need statewide when New York State partnered with Walmart, Wegmans, the National Supermarket Association, Coca-Cola Company, PepsiCo and FreshDirect.  Each meal included turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie, vegetables, cranberry sauce and potatoes. A Superior Court arrest warrant dating Oct. 30, 2006 alleges Jose M. Tapia, 39, was involved with 1st degree rape, contempt, weapon possession and menacing. He is described as a male hispanic with black hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 225 pounds. Anyone with information on Tapia's whereabouts is asked to call (845) 808-4357.
