Lyndhurst Pool Will Be Closed For Thanksgiving, Swim Meets LYNDHURST, N.J. — The Township of Lyndhurst announces the following closing dates for the community pool. Thursday Nov. 26: The pool will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving Friday, Nov. 27 through Sunday, Nov. 29: The pool will be closed due to swim meets The poll will reopen to residents in Monday, Nov. 30. Garfield High School Open House Features International Food Tastings GARFIELD, N.J. — Garfield High School will host its sixth annual open house Nov. 19 from 6 to 9 p.m. The event will include building tours, parent workshops, academic presentations and information on school clubs, athletics and more. 3-On-3 Hoops Tourney Supports Ridgewood Mom RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Kerrie Prettitore, a 42-year-old mother of three, is fighting for her life following a reaction to a single chemotherapy treatment. On Saturday, Nov. 15, a "3 on 3 Charity Basketball Tournament" to benefit her and her family will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel School Gym in Ridgewood.
