Immaculate Conception Seniors In Lodi Defray Prom Cost With Fundraiser LODI, N.J. – More than 200 guests had a pasta dinner and dessert served by Immaculate Conception High School seniors for their senior prom fundraiser. The grandparents of Arianna Azzolino, Class of 2016, made more than 900 meatballs for the dinner, which was made possible with the support of Inserra Shop-Rite Supermarkets, Giresi’s Caterers, Venice Bakery and Il Villaggio Caterers. The dinner is a popular school event with a tricky tray and raffle. All money raised helps defray the cost of the senior prom, which may otherwise be unaffordable to some students.

Connecticut Men Found In Poughkeepsie With Gun, Stolen Car POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. – Roger Taylor, 23; Tommy Brown, 21; and Marque Green-Pendergrass, 22, all of Connecticut, were charged recently with criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of stolen property, twcnews.com reports. Pleasantville Housing In The Works At Former Business Complex PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Office buildings are coming down and housing is planned for a former Washington Avenue business complex in Pleasantville, according to the examinernews.com. Hawthorne ES Students Mix Magic With Math MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- Hawthorne Elementary School students were treated on Monday to "MatheMagic!," a PTA Cultural Arts event, that had them adding and subtracting like magic. The fast-paced program had the K-2 crowd computing and laughing at the same time. MatheMagic's Bradley Fields showed children how numbers and the place value system were formed. Culinary Institute Student Interviews Famed Chef Keller HYDE PARK, N.Y. – Chef Thomas Keller recently stopped by the campus of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park and sat down for an interview with the school’s newspaper, La Papillote. Keller has launched numerous restaurants, starting with his 1994 California flagship, The French Laundry, in Yountville, Calif., to the 2004 Per Se in New York City.
