Bergenfield Band Alumni Invited To March At Homecoming
BERGENFIELD, N.J. — Bergenfield Band Alumni are invited to play with the Bergenfield High School Marching Band and the 8th Grade Band during Homecoming 2015 on Oct. 24. There will be a 30-minute practice on the day of the event at 1 p.m. in the Bergenfield High School Band Room. Man, 31, Faces DWI Charge After Sprain Brook Parkway Speeding Stop
YONKERS, NY –- Marcos E. Mendez-Tlatenco, 31, of Yonkers was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Sunday, Oct. 18 on the Sprain Brook Parkway, police said. New York State Police from the Hawthorne barracks said he was arrested subsequent to a vehicle and traffic stop conducted for speeding. He was processed without incident and provided a positive breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.16 percent, police said. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

Police Ask For Public's Help In Search For Cortlandt Robbery Suspects
CORTLANDT, N. Y. – New York State Police from the Cortlandt barracks are attempting to identify the two individuals pictured here . The subject in the dark jacket is wanted for questioning regarding an attempted strong arm robbery of a cashier at the Marshall’s Department Store, in the Cortlandt Town Center which occurred during the evening hours of Saturday. The suspect was in the company of the other male pictured, as well as a female who is not pictured. Westport Police, Y's Men Raise Awareness About Domestic Violence
WESTPORT, Conn. -- Members of the Westport Police Department, Westport Domestic Violence Task Force and Y's Men recently joined together to raise awareness for domestic violence. In observance of October being National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, they greeted commuters during the morning hours and provided literature from the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) of Norwalk, which provides domestic violence services to the area.
