Glen Rock Launches Spring Cleanup Program GLEN ROCK, N.J. -- Glen Rock's Department of Public Works is launching a pilot spring cleanup program, picking up "vegetative waste" from the curb once for each side of town. Monday, April 18, is the pickup date for the north and west section of town. It's Monday, April 25, for the south and east section of town. Acceptable items include leaves, branches no bigger than four inches diameter, grass and flowers. Branches should be shorter than four feet long and must be tied together. The teams used equipment on USR Engine 1231 and ran through several drills. Pascack Robotics Team Publishes First Children's Book PASCACK, N.J. -- The Pascack Pi-oneers FIRST Robotics Team 1676 has published its first children's book, "Lily the Learner," as an e-book on Kindle, as a paperback and through the Google Play Store. "Lily the Learner" was conceived and written in 2013 by team members Jenna Malley and Sami Livingstone. Sam Pincus originally illustrated it, and Nicholas Metz updated it.
