Warrant Arrest Tops Stony Point Police Blotter STONY POINT, N.Y. – The Stony Point Police Department released a blotter of recent arrests from the end of February, including remanding a defendant to Haverstraw police on an outstanding warrant.  Evans Whitaker, 27, of the Bronx, was arrested on second-degree criminal contempt charges Monday after a traffic stop and investigation found that he was wanted by the Haverstraw Police Department on an outstanding bench warrant, police said. Four Injured In Head-On Collision In Fairfield FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Four people, including two children, were injured in a two-car crash that occurred Friday morning on Burr Street in Fairfield. The head-on collision happened around 9 a.m., and Fairfield police and an ambulance responded to the 911 call. Police called for extra ambulances, and American Medical Response aided Fire Department members in providing medical attention.
