Weston Fire Station Deals With Burst Frozen Pipes WESTON, Conn. – The Weston Fire Department has had multiple calls this winter for burst pipes due to freezing temperatures, but had to deal with one of their own on Feb. 14, according to the Weston Forum. A hot water pipe on the second floor of the department's Norfield Road station burst due to the extreme cold, the Forum said. Fire Chief John Pokorny told the Weston Forum that the water damage was "substantial." The station's day room and the second floor bathrooms are still unusable, the Weston Forum noted.
