Brookfield Ethics Board Cries Foul Over Tinsley's Hiring Practice
BROOKFIELD, Conn. — The three-member Brookfield Board of Ethics ruled that First Selectman Bill Tinsley was wrong when he hired someone without the approval of the rest of the Board of Selectmen, newstimes.com reports. TARRYTOWN, N.Y. — There's good news for the biotechnology industry as Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced the expansion of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals in Tarrytown and the launch of a $5 million venture capital competition. The governor attended Regeneron’s grand opening Nov. 12 of two new buildings that will bring at least 300 jobs. Danbury Couple Charged With Selling Drugs Out Of Their Home
DANBURY, Conn. — A surveillance operation on Lois Street in Danbury led to the arrest of suspected husband-and-wife drug dealers on Wednesday, police said. Neighbors had complained to police that they suspected the couple, who had several children at home, were drug dealers, police said. According to police reports, investigators "detected activity consistent with drug trafficking" based on surveillance of the residence and other investigative techniques.
