Motorcyclist Dies After I-684 Crash
PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. — Daniel Greenhill, 52, of Carmel, died a week after he was hospitalized following a serious motorcycle accident, lohud.com reports. Greenhill was riding a motorcycle on I-684 around 6:50 a.m. on Oct. 14 when two cars collided causing a six-car accident. Greenhill then crashed into one of the cars and was thrown from his motorcycle, the report said. He died Tuesday at Westchester Medical Center as a result of the injuries he sustained in the crash. Man Charged After Road Rage Incident On Sprain Brook Parkway
GREENBURGH, N. Y. – Juan Acevedo, 37, of Hawthorne was charged Saturday, Oct. 24 with menacing, police said. Troopers with the New York State Police in Hawthorne said the arrest stemmed from a road rage incident that occurred on the Sprain Brook Parkway. Acevedo reportedly pointed what appeared to be a handgun toward them. Acevedo was located by Troopers at his residence in Hawthorne and processed at the State Police Hawthorne station, police said. He was released on summonses pending a court appearance.

BERGEN COUNTY, N.J. – The Bergen County Clerk's Office announces the following deadlines for voter eligibility on Election Day, Nov. 3. The last day to apply for a vote-by-mail ballot by mail for the election is TODAY (Tuesday). The Bergen County Clerk's Office is open for vote by mail in person from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 31. OSSINING, N.Y. – The Ossining Uptown Committee will bring the first ever Halloween Pet Parade to Croton Avenue at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Peekskill Project Offers 20 Locations Of Creative Artistry
PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – The Peekskill Project, organized by the nonprofit Hudson Valley Center (HVC) for Contemporary Art, runs through the end of the year and has work by 56 artists at 20 locations, The New York Times reports. This sixth installation includes art painted directly on the walls inside residents’ homes or on the outside of buildings, the article says.
