David Mintz, 93, Local Physician And Scarsdale Resident
SCARSDALE, N.Y. -- David Mintz, of Scarsdale, died Oct.19. He was 93. Mintz was for many years a respected physician in private practice in Scarsdale and also as an attending physician at White Plains and Montefiore hospitals and other local institutions. He was a passionate musician--pianist, cellist and composer, participating in a variety of local theater, orchestra and chamber music organizations. He is survived by his children and grandchildren. Former Teacher From New Fairfield Pleads No Contest In Sex Assault Of Boys
NEW FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A former Bethel first-grade teacher pleaded no contest Friday to charges that he sexually assaulted three boys, newstimes.com reports. Under the plea agreement, Brian Stroh, 31, of New Fairfield, faces up to 10 years in prison, the story said. He pleaded no contest to three counts of risk of injury to a minor and one count of promoting a minor in an obscene performance, all felonies, according to the article.
