Bedford Hills Lions Cook Up 'Spooky' Pancake Breakfast
BEDFORD, N.Y. – A Halloween “Spooky” Pancake Breakfast takes place 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Sunday at the Bedford Hills Community House. Sponsored by the Lions Club of Bedford Hills, the breakfast includes buttermilk or buckwheat pancakes with blueberry, chocolate chip, apple or cherry toppings, sausage, coffee, tea, milk and orange juice. Cost is adults, $7; children 3 to 12; $4; children under 3, no charge. The event benefits the Youth Programs at the Bedford Hills Free Library. Son Of Missing Easton Couple Sued Over Credit Card Debt
EASTON, Conn. – Creditors are suing Kyle Navin, 27, who has been in custody since his arrest on Sept. 8 on federal gun charges, eastoncourier.com reports. Navin has been described as a person of interest in the disappearance of his parents, Jeffrey and Jeanette Navin of Easton. ShopRite Slated To Take Over Danbury A&P Location
DANBURY, Conn. – A&P shoppers in Danbury will be greeted by a newly renovated Padanaram Road store under the ShopRite banner next year, newstime.com reports. Parent company Wakefern Food Corp. said it would take several months to get the building up to its standards, according to the article.
