Bedford Police Charge Two In Vehicle Break-Ins BEDFORD, N.Y. – Bedford police said they charged two individuals with vehicle break-ins that took place between Sept. 19 and Sept. 24 in Bedford Hills and Katonah. William M. Tyson, 26, of Pawling was charged with two counts of grand larceny, 1 count of petit larceny, and criminal mischief. He was arraigned and transported to the Westchester County Correctional Facility on $5,000 cash bail. William E. Paoli, 23, of the Bronx was charged with two counts of grand larceny after surrendering at the Bedford Police Department on Oct. 7. He was arraigned and released on his own recognizance. The …

Wilton: Plan Ahead For Nighttime Paving Work Planned For Route 106 WILTON, Conn. – Three miles of Route 106 in Wilton will be closed for resurfacing from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 12, through Friday, Oct. 16, the Connecticut Department of Transportation said. Motorists can expect lane closures on Route 106 from Belden Hill Road to Route 53/Chestnut Hill Road.  Traffic control personnel and signs will be used to guide motorists through the work zone. The construction schedule may changed due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

Maine Man Arrested In Yorktown On Warrant For Larceny YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- Gary J. Prew, 52, of Newport, Maine, was arrested 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 6, at the Yorkstown Police Department after he turned himself in on an open Yorkstown warrant for petit larceny, police said. According to reports, Prew was wanted for failure to appear for a 2005 larceny charge. He was released on $200 cash bail pending a court appearance.
