Saddle Brook-Based Restaurant Company Accused Of Keeping $40,000 In Tips
SADDLE BROOK, N.J. — More than $40,000 in tips is at the center of a lawsuit alleging that a Houlihan's owner pocketed tip money belonging to staff, northjersey.com reports. A company that runs 17 Houlihan's restaurants was sued by employees claiming that it pocketed tip money at restaurants it runs in New York and New Jersey. A.C.E. Restaurant Group required servers and bartenders to contribute a percentage of their tips to a tip pool, according to northjersey.com. Go Fish At Annual North Haledon Fishing Derby For Kids
NORTH HALEDON, N.J. – The Annual Fishing Derby for North Haledon children in grades kindergarten through eighth takes place from 7 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, at the High Mountain Road Reservoir. Park in the Nature Preserve parking lot. Cost is $5 per child (cash or check payable to BSA Cub Pack 70). There will be three prizes in each age group for first child to catch a fish, longest fish and most fish caught.
