NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Habitat for Humanity of Westchester celebrated its 50th anniversary at 1 p.m. on Nov.2 at Constitution Park next to Village Hall in Larchmont (across from St. Augustine’s Church). Jim Killoran, chief executive officer, of Habitat for Humanity of Westchester, will walk 10.1 miles from Yonkers to Larchmont to mark Habitat’s progress. Bedford Central's Space Committee Holding Meetings
BEDFORD, N.Y. — The Space and Enrollment Committee has scheduled several meetings to walk through each elementary school, gather and review background information, and hear reports pertinent to planning. The committee was created to figure out how to address enrollment caused by crowding at Mount Kisco Elementary School. Nyack Library Director Reads With The Rotary Club
NYACK, N.Y. – The Nyack Rotary Club recently held a family reading night at the Nyack Center. Nyack Library Director and Rotary Club member Jane Marino spent time reading to kids at the Nyack Center. String Quartet Entertains Nyack As Part Of Carnegie Series
NYACK, N.Y. — The String Quartet opened the Nyack Library Carnegie Concert Series 2015-2016 season and played to a packed house. The Manhattan-based musicians formed the quartet in 2000 to perform freelance Chamber music outside of their day jobs with other professional orchestras. MOUNT VERNON, N.Y. — A Halloween Luncheon and Dance for senior citizens took place from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 30.
